Non-executive Candidates
At Spirit we consider non-executive directors to be a key part of our strategy in creating value.
What do we look for?
The non-executives we work with will typically:
- have held positions as Managing Director or Chief Executive
- have a track record in enhancing shareholder value
- have proven experience in providing strategic direction
- be able to commit the time and energy to the role
- have a willingness to invest
Alongside this we would also expect some, if not all, of the following:
- strong interpersonal skills
- experience of buying and selling companies
- previous private equity experience
- relevant industry knowledge
